Course Overview
The MBA Advanced Entry route is designed for students who hold an approved Level 7 Post Graduate Diploma in a management subject and want to complete the final stage of the MBA.
The programme is delivered through distance learning and includes guidance similar to the induction support normally provided at Cardiff Metropolitan University or through its partners.
Students complete scheduled interactive webinars for Research Methods and receive one-to-one dissertation supervision, with online tools and guidance provided throughout.

Qualification Structure
The course content is made up of two parts:
- Research Methods – 20 credits, approximately two months
- Dissertation – 40 credits, approximately five months
- Dissertation length: 8,000–10,000 words on a chosen subject, preferably related to the student’s line of work
Academic Progression
On successful completion, students receive a Cardiff Metropolitan University certificate in Master of Business Administration, plus transcript and Higher Education Achievement Report.
