Course Overview
The NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Business is the first stage of the NCC Education Business Degree journey and is equivalent to the first year of a UK business degree.
The programme blends academic theory with practical application, introducing international business principles and preparing students for further study or entry into business careers.
Qualification Structure / Units
- Core units – Leadership & Entrepreneurship, Project Management, Corporate Responsibility with Sustainable Business, Understanding Business Finance, and Organisational Culture & Collaboration.
- Elective units – students select three elective units from Business Law, Expert eBusiness, International Business and Applying Marketing to complete 120 credits.
Entry Requirements
- NCC Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies, Level 3 Diploma in Business or Level 3 Diploma in Computing.
- A comparable local or international qualification agreed with NCC Education, or one A Level/equivalent or appropriate school leaver certificate.
- English language requirement: IELTS 5.5 or equivalent, GCE O Level English C6, the NCC Education Higher English Placement Test, or Oxford Test of English where accepted.
- Mature applicants may be considered with more than two years of relevant work experience plus English and Maths at GCSE/O Level/IGCSE or equivalent.
Assessment
All units are assessed by either examination or assignments, with assessment cycles offered during the year.
Academic Progression
Students can progress to the NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Business, enter the second year of many university programmes, or pursue business careers.
Accreditation Status
NCC Education is regulated to award the Level 4 Diploma in Business by Ofqual and Qualifications Wales. The course is also recognised as a Higher Technical Qualification by Skills England for England learners.
