Course Overview

The NCC Education Level 2 Diploma in Computing is an Ofqual-regulated qualification for learners aged 14 and above who want to develop structured computing knowledge and practical digital skills.

The programme supports progression to higher education courses or entry-level digital and technology roles while helping learners study and complete assessment in English.

Entry Requirements

  • Learners should be working towards GCSE/IGCSE ‘O’ Levels or an equivalent qualification and be predicted four subjects with minimum grades of C/4 or equivalent, including Mathematics and English.
  • Suitable for candidates aged 14 and above, as well as older adult learners.
  • Non-native English speakers should be able to meet the demands of study and assessment in English.

Assessment

All units are assessed by examination or assignments, with assessments offered in assessment cycles throughout the year.

Academic Progression

Learners who successfully complete this diploma can progress to the NCC Education Level 3 Diploma in Computing.
